With the self-braking type motor, a special lever is used that allows manual release of the brake in the event of an involuntary stop during travel. Before acting on the brake, disconnect the power supply using the main switch. The release procedure allows you to act on the lever in order to determine the controlled descent, making sure, with short stops, not to overheat the brake. At the end of the lowering operation, return the lever to its original position.
